Another adventure with the Paines.  We had an amazing time on our week road trip to Washington and Oregon.  Michael's good friend Paul got married on September 19th to Elizabeth who is an amazing lady of the Lord. They had 500 people at their ceremony (Pauls the youth pastor at the church) and it was such a special time for everyone as they have waited for Paul to find 'the one' for the past 31 years.  Michael was able to connect with 4 of his college buddies one he hadn't seen in 6 years (ben).  There is something about reconnecting with friends from the past who have shared so many memorable experiences with you I know Michael and I both felt very encouraged after spending time in the Northwest with old friends.  We also visited with Michael's friends Abe & Kelly Long who he hadn't seen in 3 years.  Funny thing was he didn't have their number anymore but he remembered last time he saw them they lived near the church.  Well we arrived in Glide, Oregon at 12am so we put up our tent in their backyard.  7am rolls around I wake up Michael hurry us to pack up our things so people don't think we are homeless.  Of course as the door swings open we find the Longs have moved 3 years ago (right about when Michael saw them) and she knew of some people they lived next to but no exact location.  Given that Glide has a population of 1000 we drove around asked some random lady at a drive thru coffee place if she knew of the browns the family they lived next too and she directed us the right way.  Well, the Browns weren't home but Abe (michaels friend) sure saw Michael Paine driving by his house as he was eating breakfast in the kitchen.  The best part about the reunion was it seemed like Michael was just hanging out with them yesterday but it had been three years.  We were able to stay the night with them and get to know their two cutie pies, josiah and hannah! Thanks Abe & Kelly for your hospitality:) We drove 12 hours from Glide to Shell Beach, and finally just moved into our new little home in Shell Beach.  What a year!
